As founder and president of Safety Compliance Services, Inc. Don has been involved with providing safety and emergency response support to businesses and industry since the company was founded in 1993. A retired career District Fire Chief, Don brings his 26 years of experience in the professional fire service, including 14 years serving on, and leading, a Hazardous Materials Response Team as well as his experience as an instructor at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland to the company and his team. Through the years, Don has developed SCS into a national and international presence serving clients across the country and overseas. Don also recognizes that it is only through the dedicated efforts and outstanding skills and support his management team and entire staff contribute every day that the company has grown and continues to expand its presence.
Travis also comes with a background in the professional fire service serving as a Battalion Chief in charge of training for a Phoenix area fire department. In addition to his firefighting background, Travis also brings a long history of providing health and safety training and support services for private industry before coming on board with Safety Compliance Services in 2009 to manage the new Tempe, Arizona office. In his role as the Southwest Director of Operations, Travis has done an exceptional job of developing our southwest operation in order to better support our western U.S. clients. He has been instrumental in recruiting highly qualified, highly motivated trainers and rescue technicians to join our Arizona staff as well as meeting with all our regional clients to ensure our services are tailored to best meet their unique needs and budgets.
Dan brings technical expertise, excellent human resources and communications skills, and a passion for safety and technical rescue to the position. Dan firmly believes in serving each client‘s specific needs and making a difference in their employee’s lives through safety awareness, education, mentoring, and emergency preparedness and planning.
